The Mesa Chamber of Commerce is committed to supporting the creation of the next generation of "legacy" businesses in Mesa, businesses with strong, long-time roots within our community. We believe that as the representative of the business community, we have a central obligation to act in support of the members of our community committed to the had work and sacrificed needed to build a strong, connected, and long-lasting business in Mesa.

BusinessX (formerly Green Flag Mesa)

The Mesa Chamber BusinessX program provides small business owners and entrepreneurs with access to critical chamber relationship opportunities and resources to create a solid foundation for their endeavor. Designed as a series of four modules, each lasting six months, participants can receive targeted assistance in a particular area of running their business or a complete preparation for the purpose of making them a business owner with a stronger skill set.

Next Phase

Next Phase is a program of the Mesa Chamber of Commerce Foundation intended to create, educate, and promote a new generation of retail talent and business owners in Mesa, Arizona. In partnership with Superstition Springs Center, several educational institutions and the Mesa Chamber of Commerce’s large membership base, the program provides a practical environment for entrepreneurs to formulate their new retail concept. 24 Hour Business Plan Challenge

The 24 Hour Business Plan Challenge is an annual event hosted at the Mesa Chamber in which competitors are given 24 hours to develop a business plan for a new or existing business. Participation is open to anyone with a business idea that would like help preparing a business plan. Meals, snacks, and beverages are provided. Plans are judged by a panel of business and education professionals, and the winner receives a cash prize!

Mesa Pitch

The Mesa Pitch is another annual event hosted by the Mesa Chamber. Billed as “Shark Tank meets TED Talk”, six contestants each get to give a three-minute pitch to a set of five judges for their business concept in front of a live audience. The judges are given an additional three minutes to compile scores for each presenter. The event is hosted by an Emcee to introduce each “pitch contestant”, the judges, and sponsors through the evening. It will be an uplifting, positive evening between pitch music and lights, showcasing Mesa an entrepreneur center. The top three business receive a cash prize and a suite of products and services provided by sponsors.
