About Elevation Academy
Elevation Academy School of Nursing is a privately owned establishment, located in Mesa, AZ. Elevation Academy specializes in vocational training that includes Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training, Life Skills, CPR/ First Aid, Soft Skills, Resume Preparation and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) courses. They are a state approved program with a graduation process that includes a mock practice test for the state exam. Their school provides flexible class schedules with day, evening, and weekend programs, as well as various payment options. This workforce entry level training program equips students with the necessary education and skills to become proficient CNA’s. Their focus on soft skills, professional development and state exam preparation promotes job readiness, productivity, and retention. These are qualities that employers value in qualified candidates. Using a career success coaching approach helps students understand the proper etiquette of the role and responsibilities of a CNA.

Elevation Academy offers courses in Nursing Assistant training (to include hands on clinical rotation), CPR/AED, First Aid, Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), Life Skills, and financial literacy.

Meet the Team
Tina McIntosh, a native of Tucson, Arizona, has been a healthcare professional for over 20 years. She began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant, then quickly and diligently pursued her LPN certification. In 2007, Tina received her Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from Rio Salado Community College, in Tempe. Her aspirations for a life in nursing and healthcare career led her to achieve a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Arizona State University, (2010) and a Master of Educational Leadership (M.Ed.) from Northern Arizona University, (2013).
For over 13 years, Tina was immersed as an Emergency Room nurse at Arizona Heart Hospital, Phoenix. Working in such a high tempo environment, she thrived by staying abreast and trained in the necessary skills of rapidly changing medical advancements. She takes great pride in her work and has a tenacious passion to “uplift, encourage and inspire young people to learn, grow and be the best they can be”. This desire to “give back”, inspired Tina to open the Elevation Academy School of Nursing, Mesa, AZ in June 2023. The school was primarily established to assist young adults from foster care, low income, and underserved communities to a promising career in healthcare.
