The 2024 Mesa Pitch Video Collector is now live! Using the link below, entrepreneurs and early stage businesses can submit their nominations to be considered for the Mesa Pitch coming up on October 24, 2024. The deadline to submit is September 15, 2024.

The collector will ask you to record responses to the following questions:

  • Tell us your name and the name of your business.
  • Tell us about your business idea in 30 seconds or less.
  • What is it about your business that makes it unique, new and/or exciting?
  • Tell us why you should be on The Mesa Pitch.

Who should submit?

We are looking for entrepreneurs looking to start their business. We will also consider small businesses within 6 months of launch that are homed in Mesa, AZ.

What is the process?

After a business submits their pitch, and following the deadline of September 15th, Director of Communications Bob Nelson will form a small committee to review the submitted pitches to work on a “Final 6”. The final six will be asked to fill out participation paperwork prior to the event on October 24th.

Between their selection and the show date,  the Chamber will coordinate several coaching sessions to assist the participants in making the most of the opportunity, including public presenting workshops, pitch deck construction and more.

Q. Does the business or entrepreneur need to be a Chamber member to apply?

A. No

Q. How large does a business need to be to qualify?

A. We are looking for startups or “early stage”, a business that may be open but has not been open for long.

Q. Is this a cash prize for the person or the business?

A. All prizes are paid to the business. The Chamber will not pay winnings to an individual.

Q. How much are the Prizes?

A. 2023 Prizes were $2,000, $1,000 and $500. These are subject to change based on sponsorships.

Q. Who is hosting the event?

A. World renowned speaker and personality Bill Jabjiniak of sponsor Edgecore will be hosting the event.

Q. Who is invited?

A. Typically, the Mayor, Sally and 3 sponsors are invited as judges (Interested sponsors may contact Director of Communications Bob Nelson). We typically invite Chamber members, the investment community and people from the community at large to join and watch the event.
