Our June Taste of Mesa Annual Burger Challenge was recently held at Superstition Manor Wedding and Events Center. We want to give a huge thank you to Desirae Webster and her staff for another great event!
Thank you to this month’s Big Prize Sponsor The Four Points by Sheraton at Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport and Emcee Laura Moats.
We can’t say thank you enough to Delta Hotels by Marriott Phoenix Mesa, Bobby-Q-Mesa, Dave & Busters-Tempe and of course, Tommy’s Wood Fired Grill, LLC for participating in this years Burger Challenge. Your teams were friendly and professional, your presentations were on point and the food was delicious. This was a very close competition, but in the end, it went to Tommy’s Wood Fired Grill, LLC for the 2nd year in a row. Congratulations on a job well done or rare…it’s a personal preference!
Door Prizes included contributions from Mera Greenfield, Meineke – Shop 2829 – Southern Ave., Mesa, Mesa Golfland/Sunsplash, Prime IV Hydration & Wellness – Power Road, Best and Beautiful You and Superstition Manor Wedding and Events Center. If you are interested in being a door prize sponsor, please make arrangements in advance to earn a minute at the mic to promote your business. When purchasing a gift card, please consider purchasing a gift card from another member. There are only a couple openings left in August. Please contact Christine Terrell to get on the door prize list.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who brought a backpack with school supplies for kids in need attending Mesa Public Schools. Don’t worry if you forgot to bring one! We will collect them again at the next Taste of Mesa or you can drop them off at the Chamber office.
How fitting that Greg Unterburger with Mesa Sales and Supply was the lucky winner of the June 50/50 raffle, which was an eye popping $225.00.
Speaking of the Big Prize, this month the prize was $2,000.00. Boomerang Capital Partners was drawn, but unfortunately not present to win the prize drawing. Don’t be the next business whose name is drawn to win and not be in the room. Next month’s Big Prize amount will be $2,100.00.
