Good Afternoon, Mesa Chamber Members,

It has come to our attention that a message was recently sent to members in regard to an award opportunity being offered by a third party. As part of this communication, it was indicated that a member of Chamber staff had nominated the receiving business for the award mentioned in that email.

In being made aware of the communication, the staff member had not made any recommendation or nomination of any organization to receive said award. In this case, the falsely stated nomination was attached to a significant spending ask related to the award.

Please know, that the Chamber takes recommendations and nominations of our members for awards very seriously, and we do not recommend or nominate any members for any award or recognition that would involve the purchase of 3rd party products and services..

Any time you receive a similar communication, or any communication involving the Chamber or Chamber staff from third parties, please do not hesitate to forward this information to your Chamber for review of your behalf.

Our goal is always to serve our membership and community with the utmost integrity, professionalism and support.

Thank you,

Sally Harrison
President and CEO
