The Mesa Veterans Program hosted by Sally Harrison on April 21st with 16 different agencies and represented.

The group had a brief presentation from Mesa Veterans Resource Center where we learned about some of the new ideas and expectations for the Vets the Center serves. The staff are creating a relaxed almost USO feel to the center which will asset clients to feel relaxed and a sense inclusive. They will also be adding events like poker night, corn hole tournaments, and other free to events to get Vets engaged and having fun.

The group got updates from the Las Palmas Veterans Group, car giveaway subcommittee, Scholarship subcommittee, and with general member updates.

The Mesa Veterans Program had upcoming event announcements from Arizona State University Veterans Program, Operation Homefront, Realign Your Life Wellness, and the Army Aviation Heritage.
