has been a collective strength of over 5,000 members pursuing legislative
policies, and conducting business that is of concern to the Chambers of Commerce
of Mesa, Chandler, Tempe, Apache Junction and Gilbert. Each year the
management of the Alliance is rotated among the members.

The Mesa Leadership, Training and Development (LTD) Program's purpose is
to provide a unique opportunity to interested citizens to learn about the city
and to help them assume positions of responsibility and leadership in the
community's service organizations and city advisory boards and committees.
This purpose is accomplished through a program of instruction and participation
in a 10-month learning experience and by providing assistance in placement of
individuals who graduate from the LTD program.
